How to Reach Us

By plane – of the two airports servicing Rome the one furthest away from the centre (Fiumicino ‘Leonardo da Vinci’ airport) has the best transport links, whereas the nearer airport geographically is Ciampino airport which is smaller and a little more difficult to travel from.

Fiumicino – every 30 mins from 06:36 until 23:36 a train leaves from the airport to the main train station of Rome – Termini station, or alternatively you can take a commercial shuttle bus service e.g. ‘Terravision’ from the airport bays to Termini station.  Of course you can also take a taxi but that can be a little pricy.  Once at Termini (however you get there!), you should take either a taxi or a bus (see instructions below) to the apartments. 

Ciampino – the best options from here would be the commercial shuttle bus service – ‘Terravision’ or the regional bus ‘Cotral’ service which leaves from outside the airport to the Metro Line A station called ‘Anagnina’.  From Anagnina you can take the metro underground to Termini. 

By train then bus – the main train station in Rome is Termini station. From there you can take a taxi or catch a no 64 bus to the ‘Piazza San Andrea della Valle’ stop with the apartments only a short walk away.

Art and Entertainment

In the foreground one notices the entertaining street performers such as jugglers, musicians, mime-artists, and magicians energetically vying for attention, whilst in the background stand scores of yet undiscovered artists & painters who display exquisite masterpieces keeping quiet and let their painting instead vie for your attention. This unique juxtaposition is completed when one realises that amidst all of this life stand the statues and fountains of the baroque masters Bernini, Borromeo and Giacomo Della Porta.

One can stroll through the square and be apart of it as it plays out, or alternatively relax at one of the restaurants around the square to observe as a spectator the subtle dramas unfolding before your eyes. 

Indeed, by just a gentle stroll, guests of Residence Navonapt can walk to some of the major tourist attractions such as the Caravaggio works in the French church of St Louis, or a couple of minutes further, the ancient and awe-inspiring Pantheon, or the exquisitely decorated church of S. Maria sopra Minerva displaying the body of St Catherine the Great.
